Jen is so pretty, and WNTW works miracles on these people, but I don't see a lot of individuality, y'know? All the outfits on the dummies they show have the jackets and jeans and purse and so on, and they encourage that. They don't encourage true comfort wear, like some nice jeans and a graphic tee, everything doesn't have to be sophistication to look good I think. How about you guys?

@ExFhailure Well, I'm not very familiar with this show, but in Jen's case they wanted to make her look professional. As in casual-formal for work situations. Of course she will not be wearing jackets and heels every day, but this was what she needed. Graphic tees are not adult and professional, so I get why they wouldn't incorporate that. Comfort wear and individuality will be brought in later by the individual, since it's obviously not individualistic if its picked by someone else.

I see what you mean, but even after the person has had a chance to pick their own clothes, they still go with the really sophisticated outfits, jackets, and scarves, ETC where I don't think some of these women are so sophisticated in their off time. Not that this is a bad thing, I just think it does suck some of the more casual fun out of the persons sense of style or rather add so much sophistication it cancels it out. And this is common in a lot of the shows.

Granted, there are a few ways to dress well and hundreds of thousands to make yourself look bad, but for each top, bottom, or dress that flatters your body type, there's a million colors, textures, patterns, and embellishments that come with them plus accessories.

Since most of the guests haven't put alot of effort into their look in the past, shorter hair is much easier to maintain, and probably more realistic for thier lifestyle. Less, product, less styling, etc.
