Great band & so funky! Saw them once at the Jazz Cafe many moons ago & it was an awesome gig. This version is good but the original '91 version does it for me, slightly funkier & with Dee Heron as the vocalist who had a real unique voice! I rememeber this being voted best club single of the year in many year end polls & it's not hard to see why! Loved it!

Every song on this album is deceptively a gem,

with real instruments used/superb production.

The rap is not that bad, example of a short 'less is more' British female rapster riff from the acid jazz early 90s.

Hello this is not the collective. (This is the flute player and founding member writng.) Sorry nothing like us. On the album in the picture we slightly sold out with one slightly smooth vocal track, but made up for that with some other pretty ferocious and out there stuff. Although we opened for incognito we were never really in that bag-much more lumpy after all there are a load of NYC jazz players in the band-we even used to have arguments on stage.
