Also, shredding on a Les Paul is epic! like Buckethead, Slash, and Mark Tremonti (Ok, Tremonti's is called a single-cut but it's still Les Paul-ish)

i wanted an ml with 24 frets so bad, n plus on my ml it is so difficult 2 reach the uppa frets so i couldnt believe it when i saw this n realized matt felt the same n made a custom with a better heal so u can get to the frets easly, but i heard this guitar is so heavy, like so heavy its not worth getting cause it doesnt feel like a normal guitar, can anyone whos actually played or held this guitar give me some advice, cause id so buy it, except for what ive heard about it being spastically heavy

Actually I don't like guys like them Trivium, Metallica(they way they do things I'm not saying I hate them) that they had a signature model with a brand but they're actually using another brand when recording or something. I think the fact like MAB, he uses all his DEANs in his recording and like Alexi Laiho he uses only his signature ESP

@paddeemusio Only some of the higher end ones, say the ones that runs you more than $2500. I don't really want to generalize because I'm aware there are exceptions, but a lot of the "lower" end Gibsons have awful quality control. I've actually played more Epiphones that I've liked than Gibsons.

they are useing gibson and jackson matt heafy just joined gibson last year he had a gibson 7 string explorer customized for him and corey had jackson gutiars customized for him matt also went back to useing emg pickups in his guitars but he still uses dean here and there mostly his white 7 string dean

Yep, Matt is with Gibson. He's got a 7 string Explorer he's been using (white). Gibson came out with a 7 string in the last quarter of last year in black. Matt also mentioned to me last year that he's work on a 7 string Les Paul. Corey also has a Jackson signature coming out,.
