everyone exhales co2, but the thing is that plants dont take in co2 and turn it into oxygen. they use co2, but they take water and split the molecule into oxygen and hydrogen, so plan on "nuking" plants too.

This video induces no fear in me. I understood all that he was talking about to begin with. What does induce some fear in me, are the comments reflecting an extreme and voluntary absence of awareness of the future our children face. Does this truly represent a cross section of our populace? A virus mindlessly reproduces, disabling & killing its host, due to its consumption & wake of destruction. That's what I see here. Genetic suicide. Its your funeral. I am so sick of this temperature stuff! CO2 is a human waste product! Digging up prehistoric CO2 and pumping it into the air can not be good! I don't give a damn about the temperature!

Yeah! Humans are breathing out CO2 all the time! So are animals! Waste products!! Nuking them all is the only answer.

CO2 is not toxic or in any way dangerous to human life, in the miniscule concerntrations found in the atmosphere of 0.036-0.039%. You need 1% before you even see an effect on people, 30x that rate. The only problem with it is the greenhouse effect.

Exactly. Pumping CO2 into the atmosphere would actually be a great idea if not for the temperature thing. Plants thrive in CO2 rich environments, they often pump CO2 into greenhouses to encourage growth.

reporters dont lie they entertain, millions dying in Africa entertaining, Africans using micro credit and cellphones for well being not. I sure think there are many inventive ways of getting the message out... that playing with numbers to your liking doesn't quite make for science... and above all, it doesn't make for workable technology.

First, Mr. MIT, TV coverage is near 95% Pro alarmist...,not 50%.

All the record years were in...1930's. For example, new Zealand RAW data showed 0.06/century, but the cooked data showed 0.9/century, that 15(!) times.

The RATE of increase from 1600-1800 is the SAME as 1880-now with a 100 year pause.

i agree but i think the east and west are just as guilty. if a person embraces this notion a lot of what they stand on will begin to shatter as they realize that fiction has governed them for so long... it's a realization like nothing else!

It shows no such thing. What the emails show is that these scientists were performing standard data cleaning techniques. One that's brought up a lot, "hiding the decline", for instance, refers to a solution to a well known problem in climatology, in which tree ring temp estimates were inconsistent with measured temperatures. It's called the 'divergence problem'. Hiding the decline simply means using the REAL recorded temperatures.

The adjectives being employed like 'dire' and the world going 'haywire'. Phrases like the more people know the more dire they realise it is. For me it has been the opposite. The more I know the more i see the exaggeration of the proponents for AGW. i was a 'green' person 2 years and believed in AGW. I hate pollution but I now see AGW as a big hyperbole and a fraud. i did enough science to appreciate all the nuances and arguments in this debate.

@blaiko about 98% of the earths warmth comes from the sun. So the variance in the amount of the sun's rays will obviously affect the temperature and climate on the earth. It is the main driver for climate change. You do not need a computer model from the University of East Anglia's CRU to figure that out.
