@TheEmarbe Name one, Im to lazy to look it up. Silverton is the only mountain I know of that has only 1 lift, no trails, and requires a beacon to ride. Yes obvioulsy other mountains have side country gates and/or BC style terrain/bowls but the majority of these mountains are still groomed trails

Silverton is an expert only "ski resort" where you are required to have backcountry gear (beacon, snow, shovel). It isn't like a pass where you're at your own risk and it isn't like Vail etc. There are guided/helicopter and unguided packages. Check it out.

Really? You think so? I felt like he looked a bit too off balanced. Part of that is the fact that it looks like he kept his board set up like he does normally (bindings set even from the middle). You can see he really has to lean back the whole time just to keep his tip from digging in. He's a snowboarder who's much better in the air rather then on the snow.
