I love U2!! Seen them once and need to see them again! Just one song of theirs can make me feel every emotion that's what i love about U2. And i love how they wrote their music! I've thought the same thing. Maybe the reason is because this piece is just a little too emotionally devastating: the dark lyrics, Bono's cry at 2:15, the snap of Larry's rim shots, and, of course, Edge's wailing and perseverating guitar take one to a distinctly emotional place....

WOWY is dark too, but the last minute - of the studio version - spells out a guarded hope. Love is blindness, however, is unrelenting.
