Excelente documental. Como la historia la escriben los vencedores, nos es dificil encontrar parte de la misma dicha por los vencidos. Este es un documental muy interesante que describe que no todo el ejercito alemán Wehrmacht) y sus generales eran necesariamente nazis (nacionalsocialistas) y que si bien pecaron por omisión es bueno recordar que hubo muchos intentos al interior de la Wehmacht por eliminar a Hitler y que por una u otra razón no se consolidaron

The Soviet people were different then what the Germans faced in the west, the Soviets will fight to the death and never give up except at the beginning, they also dont cry out when wounded, the Russians are tough people, they have to be to live under communist rule.

hitler was a great illusionist he made millions pledge to him and he made young men think they were invincable in war i think he would have even made me do those same things if i living in those times

It is because average young people are lost, without conception, especialy in those times, no TV and such. Then comes Hitler, giving everyone uniforms, weapons, ranks, a world view of YOU as a hero. Who could resist that vision?

Scary to think that the Wehrmacht would have won the war if Hitler didn't interfere so much with his generals.

They may have done better, but in pure industrial terms, Germany just couldn't produce enough aircraft, tanks and ships to compete with the Soviet Union and particularly the United States.
