I am yet to hear any of you talk about Black-Americans - former slaves who became “freemen” that participated in the slave trade. These Black Slave-masters bought their slaves not even within slave market in America but ordered slaves all the way from Africa. And these Black-American Slavemasters built their wealth through slave trade. So is that the reason why Black-Americans are failing today?

Broth, most of the 'so-called' black folk were not, as you imply, united. And that is because there weren't any 'black' folk; or 'Africa' or one state. These people were diverse, and in copetition for scarce resources. Hausa fought fulani, and both fought Youraba while the King of Dahomey was a brutal enslaver, with a thirst for rub and tobacco. There was a time when I looked for every reason I could not to believe for it was always in my heart. I know it may sound crazy, but it really works for me and millions of others. So at this point in my life, anything that contradicts what Christ is about, I don't entertain it for it would be fruitless as I would gain nothing. I was raised a Christian since birth but now that I am older I have questions about certain things based on the Faith and my main thing is to find truth and absolute truth. I guess the questions I ask I don't get straight answers or the same answer from Pastors. But Same Nation did not sell the Same Nation into Slavery.
Blacks sold into slavery were Israelites, Blacks that sold them were "African".

granted, blacks did help within the slave trade, but it is a bigger picture than that as well. european knew that the continent of africa was full of resources, not only did they want them, they wanted to control them. europeans systematically would start conflicts between native tribes to divide the continent. after these wars, prisoners were sold as slaves. it is something like a double doubled edged sword. it is sad, but europeans stil control the continent to this very day. hisory....

They force black people to breed like animals. Many slave women were popping out children like 20 a piece. It go so bad that in some slave states that the slaves outnumbered the whites.

Considering that 99% of the African american slaves were born into slavery, should we even be debating or questioning rather Africans sold other Africans into slavery or did white slave traders take them by force?
How many American Slaves actually ever stepped foot onto a slave shipped or been to Africa? By the time of the end of slavery, every black slave had been a slave as has his mother and grand mother and so on had been.
Also, most slaves were shipped off to SOUTH America, not NA.

Barlog, you are absolutely right about lincoln. He armed over a 100,000 black men and recruited them into the army to help the north win the war. He had to offer these soldiers something in exchange for helping fight the south, that something was obviously an end to slavery.
There was NO MENTIONING of ending slavery UNTIL AFTER the north needed black man's help to end the rebellion in the south. Hell slavery was still legal in many parts of the north.

wrong! it was shown by egyptologist that the notion that the pyramids was built by slaves was bs.Egyptologist found letters by workers which shown that they were`nt slaves.And the Europeans created division between the tribes to get them to fight eachother that`s how they were able to enslave lots of Africans.Some Africans would trade eachother for weapons to fight other tribes.they were fighting eachother cause division was created between them.And lots of slaves were kidnapped by whites.

It is true that blacks did sell other blacks during slavery. However, my understanding is that Africans sold Africans of OTHER tribes and that their understanding of what those Africans would have to endure was not nearly as depraved as what slavery actually turned out to be...I could be wrong though. I'll do more research.

Spongebob is one of my favorite cartoons as well LOL. I believe what followed slavery is what is paramount and reflective in current society. Jim Crow, hate crimes and stereotypes derived from slavery has more of my concern than blacks selling other blacks as slaves.

As I myself once pointed out, no white man could've simply run in & subjected Africans to slavery on a whim, bec. they would've either gotten their a**es handed to them or at the very least met w/ enough bloody encounters that white raiders would've packed-up saying that Africans were "too savage" to be subjugated. History confirms, as you correctly stated, they often had help "FROM WITHIN" (e.g. selling POWs for firearms, etc).

I remember asking my black history professor about this same topic, and he made it sound like black people didn't own slaves. He made it sound like they made them their slaves to free them. It may be true to a certain extent, but he old told be 1/2 truth.
He loved challenges, and I have him plenty.
Pretty much every civilizations owned and/or sold slaves.
