To all the people asking, Yes this is an awesome truck. If ur goin LiPo dont forget to re-program the motor or it'll drain the volts too low an then wont charge. Just FYI cause i was a moron an almost ruined my 5000maH 35c LiPo, Good driving David, but i would b pissed if u were spraying all that dirt/gravel at my vehicle.

@darraghryancork i know its not even close but my 5000 35s lasts about 30-35 minutes with constant on off the throttle. My friend will get almost 35-40 minutes outta his 5400 20s. Got the venom one and it cost 70bucks i think, But imma get another one off ebay, seen some venoms on there for like 40-50 bucks

Is that at hjelte park? I drive there with my friend alot. i also go to balboa park in the empty dirt fields in the back. I have a nitro buggy and mini erevo vxl. lookin to get a slash or slash4x4. Does the slash spin out all the time with brushless and stock tires? Thanks

@storytiedie The Velineon with a 3 cell will rip the bead lock tires off the bead. Glue holds better. Factory glue won't last so glue them yourself.

@tobychong14 Yes it will wheelie and flip very easily. The VXL system with a 3 cell is close to uncontrollable. Too much power if you can believe it. Overall the handling on the slash is great. I recommend a steering servo upgrade on any RTR car but thats my personal preference.

Stock 18/86 gears. 3 cell lipo. This thing is crazy fast. In retrospect a sidewider system would have been plenty fast and cheaper.

Seriously, I have a stampede vxl and a 5000mah 35-45C 3S, and whoooly cow is it powerful! Check out the Turnigy 5.o batteries on the hobbyking site, the prices are silly good! ...and so are the batteries. I have no afiliation, just enjoying the performance!
