In the B.Y. era (before youtube), moments such as a comical slip and smack on the ice were limited to the eyes of the people who saw the event happen live. Although television has the potential to spread such an event to a mass of people, it hardly ever plays videos like this (except for shows like AFV). Now ANYBODY and EVERYBODY has the ability to share these videos. Without the filtration of producers and advertisers, the spread of this type of video has increased by thousands! What a delight.
