  • THIS GUY ROCKS!

  • @OAK3Hiway He absolutely does, too much.

  • needs more cowbell

  • Even though a synthpop band, they were brilliant to bring in the bass and guitarist, which absolutely smoke on this track. And that LM-1 drum machine!

  • Ready for this? I had the biggest crush on that actress the first time I saw her.

Her name is Emma Relph and she was smokin hot in the early 80s.

Google her name, she was in the BBC 1982 "Day of the Triffids." and thats about it, but I never forget a pretty face heh!

  • a classic and so underrated.

  • DRACON MALFOY

  • ¡Gran clásico del synth pop de los 80's!

Great synth pop classic from the 80's!

  • ...some remake of this was on the Sliver soundtrack... never understood that, nor do I understand this... what the *hell* is going on in this video/song?

  • @Pronoun8472 I believe it's corporate espionage. My memory of the video is that she dies at the end. Not sure if my mind is playing tricks on me approaching middle age.

  • @Pronoun8472 She's a spy for a rival company, posing as a secretary so that she can get info about the B.E.F. (H-17) -- obviously she's been at it for a while, because the graph shows that B.E.F. are collapsing. When she's not stealing secrets at work, she lounges on a tanning bed in her fancy apartment. Glen is in a photo darkroom when not at work. He suspects she's a spy, but it's only when he catches her (on film) tossing secret files into car that he knows for sure, & nabs her.

  • loved this group :)

  • Yuppies were the hipsters of the eighties.

  • cool tune

  • interesante

  • Glenn Gregory - a true gent. Still have all the hand-written letters Glenn wrote to me whilst I was a member of Heaven 17 Plan Waaaayyyy back in the 1800s :o) thanks Glenn, love ya xxx

  • the volume should be louder on this classic,,,

  • @yourinurine2 Errr turn up the volume lol

  • why is carol kenyon not in this video!??!! for those of you who don't know, the woman in this video is not the real singer. the real singer is carol kenyon, and she's not a white chick with blonde hair (not that there's anything wrong with that!!). at least she's in the heaven 17 "temptation" video, and i urge everyone to watch it because she is beautiful and powerful.

  • @bluestate69

Interestingly enough, Carol Kenyon isn't in the Temptation video at all, it's simply a look-alike (or at least, this is what Google tells me). Why they didn't want her in the Temptation video, or why she wasn't available, who knows...

  • @antichay interesting enough, even more, this is not carol kenyon singing here. its josie james. so i was wrong on a lot of different levels!!

  • @antichay Her name is Emma Relph. She didnt do very much other than a BBC mini series.

  • heard this song a metro area mix and fell in love with it. im a child of the 80's but i was a year old when this song came out so forgive me if im new to it.

  • Had a clip of this song on a casette for years and didn't know what it was. Thought it was Human League for many years. Really captures the early 80's.

  • Hot dance jam from a band that did not play down the funk. Too hot. Top 40 stuff seems bloodless after sonic tunes like this. More! NOW!

  • I CaLL ShAnAnAgAnS!!!

  • Heaven 17 is one of the best bands of the 80's.

  • Sick bass.

  • greatest new wave song ever

  • 3rd!!! lol

  • Holy shi-There's only been one comment on this video?!?!

  • Great music, never forgotten.
