@GameMusicCompilation Its harder to hit all the notes with a guitar compared to a piano, you only have one hand i.e five fingers to play the notes. To be able to hit more you'd need to incorporate 'hammering' with the other hand. Thats why most people find it convenient to create shorcuts between notes and create simpler renditions of specific songs.

It looks like he's got nylon strings. You probably have steel strings? If you do that would explain the difference in sound. Personally I like the sound of steel strings better, but nylon is usually easier on the fingers. :)

this proves to me two things: 1. this guy has some major talent. 2. To Zanarkand is easier to play on guitar than it is on piano. i play the piano and i happen to know this exact song, let me tell you, it takes some skills to pull this off on piano.

that said, on a classical guitar like this one, this is a really nice arrangement.

I about cry every time I hear this song. I've only played up to the part where Tidus gets attacked by that big fish, but just the opening sequence, even without knowing everyone's story in-depth, makes me want to cry man tears.

it is possible to play most piano-based songs on guitar, this guy has some serious talent to even attempt this one. all the notes are there, the real challenge is finding them on the frets, yes the original piano version had more emotion, but if this guy practices enough he can eventually make this song extremely romantic and epic. and the acoustic guitar seem to have a more romantic sound to it than the piano especially when accompanied by the harmonica will give calm, mellow music.

No, I've been playing guitar for like 7 years now. And if you've seen the tabs for this song you could see that it mostly switches from open note to closed note in the begging, then goes to a LITTLE intermediate. But still pretty simple to play. There's a lot of different ways to play this song as there is a lot of different ways to play ANY song
