Yeah, you can't become a paladin if you kill him without letting him get his sword.
I'll do 3 and 4, and also 5 if I can get it to work right... to record QFG5 I have to use Fraps, which makes the cursor glitch (it duplicates itself endlessly as I move around in the menus).
Yeah, each character type has a different way to beat him. A fighter is supposed to run into a candle to knock it over. Then Ad Avis starts throwing fireballs, which would knock over the brazier if you move to the left, then you push him off the ledge.
A couple of questions.
Is there a reason you let Khaveen get his sword back? (Is it in pursuit of this 'Paladin' status I've heard about?)
Also, I'm wondering, how much of the Quest for Glory series do you plan on going through?

The other sword fight, although epic, wasn't nearly as impressive.

If you DIDN'T go to Wit and learn Reversal, was there another way to defeat him?
