First: when you go to a pro tour you dont want to have allot of things because you are always moving place to place everytime

Second: In pro tour you have a deck box for your deck wich contain the deck,sideboard,pass,identifica­tion and some other stuff

so we just bring dices in our pocket to do so :)

Most kids wont get the concept i love magic...its good for reading, math, thinking outside the box..its kinda like chess in a way....an its fun most people who bag on magic r probably not smart an cant read or add/subtract a couple schools r using magic for teaching which is cool as hell

@anstytroll1 Magic does have it's pitfalls. #1 is the land problem- too much land or not enough land #2 is the money problem - to be competitive you need a $200 deck minimum #3 is learning and remembering all the 100s of different abilities - trample, infect, wither, landfall, bloodthirst, flashback, flash, haste, vigilance, first strike, double strike, shroud, hexproof, etc.

The level of players really has gone down on these pro tours if u see back in the day, its just about sticking good cards in your deck and you're off to become a pro, back in the day u actually needed skill

@DiminishedTB Maybe you should push for 'sealed deck' competitions to become the pro tour format. Players would need an incredible amount of general knowledge and be able to strategise on the spot. Luck would play a huge role in matches though, last time I played sealed deck I wound up with almost nothing but land cards in my first round. Two boosters and not a single offensive card, I didn't think it was possible.

Does anyone know whether the pro tours are all booster drafts, or do they play constructed standard, too? Because Jace and Sword of Feast and Famine are both definitely constructed cards. XD I don't know ANYONE who could pull those in a booster draft.

sylvok lifestaff is the fucking gayest card and it does not match dude's deck at all. I will be so glad when JTMS will be rotated out. because basically the guy one because of it, the rest of his deck was garbage. and now what will happen is people will start building their decks around this guy, therefore flooding the board with horrible decks.

I build my decks around what I think is best, I think MtG is meant for folks to experiment and figure out what cards will work together and so on.

no its not a favorable match up for boros when U/W control runs gideon. gideon destroys aggro decks plain and simple and I love my aggro decks.

@Shenaniganwhat Gideon's very powerful, but shouldn't normally make it in time this matchup. And especially with the addition of Hero of Oxid Ridge, Boros is favored. It's obviously not a blowout, which is why Rietzl's pretty bad draws cost him the match. Both players knew Caw-go was only favored in game one and, since Rietzl won that (off consecutive mulligans!) it was unlikely for Stark to come back. Pity, because I prefer it when the less popular decks win and I like Rietzl more.
