Does this charge you anything when u send and receive texts? I have unlimited texting for Verizon and non Verizon people so im just wondering because the default text message app lags big time for me.
with chomp you can make your own vibrate setting so you know... its at the bottom of the vibrate options list called CUSTOM. it is not very clear on how it works but the example is 1,1,1 and what this means is it vibrates for 1 second, has a 1 second break, and then vibrates again for 1 second. I set mine for .25, .25, .25 which is very close to the stock vibrate settings for the samsung mesmerize. I havent tried it, but i believe you can do it for more than just 2 vibrations if you prefer

hey i just downloaded this app and if there is a mediem sized msg it wont send it, it will just say unable to send or somthin any thing i can do about this?
ive used both chomp and handcent i switched back to chomp for the sole reason is that the notifications in the bar would always take me to the wrong thread and end up sending to the wrong people. very annoying but i do enjoy handcents vibrate notification more and the reminders of unread txt

theres a app called trackball alert witch lets u pick the color of the trackball and even customize the colors of it....u can use it for gmail...sms....everything...check it out....its only for certain roms though
It really doesn't matter if its old or not. Carlos took the time out, to show those who might now know about it. ChompSMS might have came out 1-2 years ago, but some beginner Android users are trying to learn more about alternative application. Geez, get over it!
Bad thing about chomp is that you cannot set your background with your wallpaper gallery. It is old, but chomp has improved from their initial release and it is faster than handcent in my opinion.

ive been using handsent for forever. It has a couple lil bugs, nothing major, but it is a lil laggy, so i am going to try chomp.
