  • I read her book too,I've absolutely fallen in love with her and everything she does...every time I watch a video with her I burst in joyful tears...she's a miracle and I am oh so happy she happened to me. I really hope I see her one day.

  • OH! Great...Sweet and

  • I love this book, I relate to it, I lived in NYC for a short time in the 70's, walked everywhere in the city, it was beautiful, we were poor, but I spent many days at the library, botanical gardens and museums. This book is beautifully written.

  • I'm in the middle of Just Kids right now. I think it's more than just a "book", it's more of a therapy session for me, considering the "ups and downs" Patti and Robert had together in their friendship, just like everyone else.

I love you, Patti Smith. Forever.

  • Il libro è bellissimo,da leggere tutto di un fiato!!!!

  • Is it just me or does Patti Smith look suspiciously like robert hughes in drag?

  • reading this in her book and actually hearing her say it with emotion makes me tear up at the thought of how a simple bumping into each other can create a crazy ride of lasting love and freindship

  • 1 person was that science fiction writer she ditched

  • I love the book too. Robert and Patti, Soulmates/friends.... the kind I was searching for too in the 60s but never found. Best friends, collaborators, lovers.... how wonderful to find it when you are so young, passionate, and everything is new and an adventure. To have a purpose and a shared destiny... and to have glimpses of it that young.... just beautiful.

  • I love Patti too....the book is wonderful!
