I know this area very well, live in the neighbouring market town of Moreton-In-Marsh. Chipping Campden or 'Campden' as the locals call it is a stunning place with beautiful properties.
Just to let you all know if you look carefully there is a for sale sign on the house on the left handside at 0.22 seconds. Price? 1.7 million that will give you an idea of how expensive this area of Gloucestershire is. Range Rovers, 4x4's, Aston's and Merc's are a common sight. Love living near here, but pricey!
@aid2003 Maybe another day will come when you return to the Uk roads once again, then I can continue looking for "Fuch Sluger" as I go about my travels...
great English village its shame not every town is like that nice yellow bricks the cotswolds are some of the best places too visit and lol that random lorry backing out at the end
Quaint village, love the Cotswold’s but never enough room for us to deliver in, glad I’m in a sprinter how those 7 1/2 tonner boys get on delivering in places like this, I did a few days in Henley once, absolute hell went back to the sprinter
@scarletshaz I can fully understand that, this place proved difficult to park up in close enough to the shop to be able to carry heavy counters and shop fittings. Im glad it was a one off...
@7784Patrick Thanks Patrick it sure is a very nice place to live and much too expensive for me.. ha ha.
Chipping Campden is in Gloucestershire and not too far away from Oxford. On that day I too was re-routed via Northampton as the M40 motorway was closed and I had to return home via the M1. I knew you were around Northampton area but didn't know where. Wished I had your number to find out that day. Next time eh?
@007vauxhall Yes its quite a stunning place to live if your lucky enough, no retail parks along or anywhere near this row of houses and shops.... ha ha
I was actually surprised not to hear a backing track this time - but actually it made it more like we're all in the cab with you!
Nice place isn't it? I frequent the Cotswolds many times during the year from up here in the Black Country - heading off to Kemble airfield. Lovely to see the area on here in such brilliant clarity thanks to your superb Video set-up (as always).
Only 70 more uploads to go before you pass another milestone :)
Great stuff Paul, that sure is a pretty little village, bet the houses are pricey there, well above my budget, the red lion looked tempting though.......John
Talking about cars, I always see only a few British brand cars in your videos. It looks like most people drive foreign brand cars. I mean even you have a Mercedes...
@108Robcatt Its not too often I get to visit places such as this, I pass through many places similar at times - makes a nice change from busy towns and cities.
The Cotswolds this time of the year are absolutely stunning Paul, and as always you've captured it brilliantly.....Go to the top of the class !!!...Bob
@robmasterman Yes the views and colours of the trees and bushes looked fantastic in parts. Makes you glad that you have sight to see it all with.
For such a small place though it was seriously busy along the road where I parked up. Nice to live there and drink in the local Red Lion Pub... Aaaah wheres my loto ticket.
Fantastic video as always and even better to see places i recognise!! Chipping Campden is about 25mins drive away from where i am and we visit it regularly, great little coffee shops there - right in the heart of the Cotswolds, a slab of old england that village!! Keep up the good work! And if your ever delivering to Stratford-upon-Avon or the surrounding area make sure to make a video of that one for me lol :D
@StephenC999 I had a look on Google street view just before I set off so I had a rough idea of the layout. It all looked lovely along that High St, vet nice place to dwell in.
Stratford is another beautiful place and yet again a place I hardly ever get sent too. I'll bear your remarks in mind though for next time. :-)
@Jobergg Im guessing they must be several hundred years old at least. Beautiful to look at for us the passing public. Very expensive to purchase, you have to be very rich I think, which counts me out... :-))
