nice tank but i wouldnt put algea eater in, if your turtle decides to bite it the fish will stabb and or kill the turtle with the barbs on his fins so if i were you id put in shrimp.

Do loud noises hurt turtles? cause im thinking about getting a turtle but im also a drummer....my drums are set up in my room which would also be were i would keep my turtle.....A reply would be nice because i cant really find anything about it.....thank you!

cool, just up loading vid of our turtles. we had them off a friends friend! your video was helpfull. we only got heat lamp with ours, so getting uv this wkend. filter wasn't working!! they did water change every other day, but i got filter working and seeded it from my tropical tank. There is no ammonia so things ok so far. they are two years old, yellow bellied sliders. They are in reptile one tank, only 2 foot! but we are getting reptile one 4 foot. That will be a lot better for them, cheers

@littlemisslalapurple I don't think you have to get the fountain, it's just a better way to use the tank since it acts as a place where the turtles can dry off, and it's also a filter.

I absolutely LOVE your stand the turtles on at the begging! I got 2 turtles a few weeks ago they are in a 110L Tank and they have a £80 Filter which will clean a 300L Tank and a stand of course:) They love it but are pretty shy!

@1980norcal i got a 3ft tank & a cheap offer for 3 Zoo med filter i bough the tank in random shop & i bough from internet from zoo med 3 filters for 143.99 i had bough a ornament for 48.99 so it was like special offer.

so in total the 3 zoo med filters cost me 143.99 + ornament for 48.99 really good offer i got it June this year
