  • The music and video makes me feel like I'm watching an industrial version of Mr. Rogers.

  • @Primal67060 LOL!!! This music has gotten my video blocked in Germany!! I got this track from Windows Movie Maker, I thought that made if fair game. Guess not! LOL!

  • @ktumbleweed copyright laws, damned copyright laws! They're different in other countries. I guess Germany and Windows are still at war over them. Could be music that is free for use here, but not in Deutschland.

  • 5:46 Fail!

  • I just found out this video has been blocked in Germany because of the sound track!! WTF I got this sound track str8 off Windows Movie Maker. Does that not make it fair game!! Damn WMG and UMG !! I had never heard of the UMG untill now. Any input here would be appreciated!

  • @ktumbleweed BTW, great and efficient job switching out that rolling stock!

  • I use #6 in the yard. Want to buy this section of my layout?? it has been changed a little since I made this video.

  • hey bro.. what kind of stitches are u useing in ur yard?.. im useing number 4's and im haveing derail after derail and its pissing me off so much! :(

  • @7arlingtontrains I think he's using #5 or #6 switch's. What code is your track and type of cars used? #4's are very tight to most cars over 50' even if you have a hard curve anywhere outside of the switch leading or trailing. What manufacturer are your switch's made by? Theres a long list of things that could be causing your derailments. Track and wheel's in gauge? Poor track layout design (setup for problems) etc.

  • @7arlingtontrains Im using #6 switches, some are Atlas , and some are Peco switches. The Peco are electro frogs, so it makes the wiring a little more involved.

  • is there any way you could email the design of your yard? im in the middle of the design process for my own railroad and i find you yard to be very impressive.

  • Some great switching !!

  • Is it N or HO scale ?

Do you know who is the author of this awesome drum solo ?

    thanks !

  • @RobertLeDiptere

... seems to be HO scale. Do you think a coplete beginner like me could handle the Micromark car card and waybill system ?

  • @RobertLeDiptere It is HO Scale. Yes I think a beginner can handle a car card system. It is easy to use, and you can easily customize it to fit you layout. As far as the drum solo goes I cant help. I got the music track straight of windows movie maker.

  • You can keep a yard crew busy working here! Like the card system, when I get mine rorad going card system is definitely in the plans...

    Thnx

  • Do you control your switches with your throttle and how do you uncouple your cars Great video

  • @Rdrake1413 I contlrol my switches manually. I also uncouple the cars manually, you can't see it on the video because I used some editing magic. thanks for the comment.

  • can you give an over all view of your layout

and i take it that this is running on dcc?

  • is the layout in youre house or at a club or sumthing . and what number swiches do you have

  • My layout is in my garage, which was converted to a living area. Most of the switches are #6. I have a few #8 and a couple #4 but only in industrial area.

  • u got a cool system going on ur layout! looks really fun to run!

  • Thanks. It is a lot a fun to run.

  • your car system is cool im thinking about doing one....is yours based on like indivual cars and where there going or?

  • Yes, my car card system is based on individual cars. It is a micromark car card system. Each car on the layout has a car card, inside each card is a waybill that has 4 locations. only 1 location shows at a time. when you deliver the car where the waybill shows you simply flip the waybill to the next location. This keeps the cars moving around the layout.

  • Thats really interesting and cool!!
