@Primal67060 LOL!!! This music has gotten my video blocked in Germany!! I got this track from Windows Movie Maker, I thought that made if fair game. Guess not! LOL!
@ktumbleweed copyright laws, damned copyright laws! They're different in other countries. I guess Germany and Windows are still at war over them. Could be music that is free for use here, but not in Deutschland.
I just found out this video has been blocked in Germany because of the sound track!! WTF I got this sound track str8 off Windows Movie Maker. Does that not make it fair game!! Damn WMG and UMG !! I had never heard of the UMG untill now. Any input here would be appreciated!
@7arlingtontrains I think he's using #5 or #6 switch's. What code is your track and type of cars used? #4's are very tight to most cars over 50' even if you have a hard curve anywhere outside of the switch leading or trailing. What manufacturer are your switch's made by? Theres a long list of things that could be causing your derailments. Track and wheel's in gauge? Poor track layout design (setup for problems) etc.
@7arlingtontrains Im using #6 switches, some are Atlas , and some are Peco switches. The Peco are electro frogs, so it makes the wiring a little more involved.
is there any way you could email the design of your yard? im in the middle of the design process for my own railroad and i find you yard to be very impressive.
@RobertLeDiptere It is HO Scale. Yes I think a beginner can handle a car card system. It is easy to use, and you can easily customize it to fit you layout. As far as the drum solo goes I cant help. I got the music track straight of windows movie maker.
@Rdrake1413 I contlrol my switches manually. I also uncouple the cars manually, you can't see it on the video because I used some editing magic. thanks for the comment.
My layout is in my garage, which was converted to a living area. Most of the switches are #6. I have a few #8 and a couple #4 but only in industrial area.
Yes, my car card system is based on individual cars. It is a micromark car card system. Each car on the layout has a car card, inside each card is a waybill that has 4 locations. only 1 location shows at a time. when you deliver the car where the waybill shows you simply flip the waybill to the next location. This keeps the cars moving around the layout.
The music and video makes me feel like I'm watching an industrial version of Mr. Rogers.
