Straight pipes are not illegal depending on your state and if you drive the car less then 5,000 miles a year which makes it emissions exempt. Which mine is, so I can do anything I want and it's completely fine. So good luck but this video is almost 3 years old now and I haven't nor will I ever get a ticket from this.

What exactly did you use for your exhaust? Straight pipes, to a resinator to a muffler?

Not really that old, but thanks.  The E30 M3 is still running strong in BMW races all over the world and are found in the same price range as some E46 (2000+) M3s.

Full custom 8 hour Dyno tune/flash, Custom Straight Pipes - no cats or resonators, 3.5hfm, intake, injectors, Shrick 284 cams, Vac HC Pistons, lightened about 150+ lbs no ac compressor, no back seats, no spare tire, no speakers exc.

No cats no resonators, all the way to the muffler which has been de-baffled and stock M3 Headers, you don't find much improvement over them even for aftermarket.

if you get your car to sound like that in the fkn united kingdom you are guaranteed about 50 years in jail, because in britain its ok to use fire-works and consume as much alcohol as you can afford etc , but if you dare do anything to your car ....boy are you in trouble !

I do not recommend doing it unless you are OBDI, can have a shop that will pass you, and also have a custom tune you will lose low end tq if not.
