@alienhuman I find it exactly the other way round, but it could be that has something to do with the fact I'm Dutch. I find 'Kräftige schauer und Gewitter' which means 'strong rain and thunderstorms' way better then the same line in Dutch, as it misses the 'sjjj' in 'schauer'

Ofcourse, thats only one of the few examples I can think of: the German sometimes only need one word for things we can only describe with 3 words!
