When I first saw RuneScape, I hated it too. Then I played it for 10 minutes and was instantly hooked. It was like 4 years ago but still. And honestly, once you beat all the quests, it gets very boring. It took me like 2 months to beat every. You need to be a member to have fun in that game for more than a month.

I played runescape for over 2 years, I wasted 2 years of my life clicking on things to do actions and clicking on the floor to move, I even payed 5 dollars a month so I could play through exclusive content as a member, and I regret it all. If you have any common sense never try runescape, because it sucks but even though it does, it can get addictive, and after you get addicted to it its hard to stop. So never play it, life is much better without it, I cant believe I wasted valuable years on it

Runescape and Wow are different games, you can't really compare them, the direction they both aim to go in are completly different. Runescape is a browser game and Wow is a full client game. Runescape should be compared to other Java applet games and not World of Warcraft. Runescape is an excellent achievement for what Jagex have had to work with, find better graphics on a decent browser game please. Runescape is 5$ a month, Wow is what 20$ ?

I kind of like runescape myself. I quit about a year ago, but if I had the time I would probably get back into it. When you start out it's boring, but once you get to a certain point there are more things to do than you can plan for. The problem is that the people that criticize it don't have the patience to make it to that point. also lumping all fighting into clicking attack and waiting is a pathetic argument. When you're fighting chickens that's true, but boss battles get pretty intense.

In Runescape atleast you choose when to play and how much you want to play.

I belive Runescape is a great game, even though I have stoped played Runescape and World of Warcraft. The great part about Runescape is that you don't need to take anything serious.
