I've always disagree with drinking and driving! But, this is what is scary... I got drunk once and blacked out for 4 hours. Don't remember a thing! I got in an argument when my man got upset when he came to pick me up, so I got mad & left. Even if you choose to not drink and drive, your thinking can become so impaired that you get in the car and don't remember a thing. My first memory was crashing and I even did a hit and run. 4 hours of no memory. Very scary. Stopped drinking. Horrible.

After abusing alcohol and other drugs for several years, through treatment I have gone sober and feel perfectly comfortable with this better way of life. Life is too valueable to waste by poisoning my only body with any mind altering substances which take away moment after moment of irreplaceable life time. Think about it.

Those who drink a drive are just stupid. It's one thing to take a drink now a then for those who can handle only having one or two.

@NEEDCARS Alcoholics anon warned me not to try giving up without clinical help and support. They told me I could have organ failure due to the shock of stopping. The Eternal Almighty is not subject to medical theories.

My alcoholism was the judgement upon me for sin. When my sin was taken away so was the wrath I was under. The liberty I now have could not have been my own work, because I was drinking myself to death and couldn't stop.

Excellent video. I am a female and 49 years old. I started drinking at 18. I now have cirrhosis and I am on 9 medications. My health is shot. Impaired brain function; amonia in the brain, etc. All the consequences of drinking. Today I am sober since 12/15/2008. Please friends, don't throw your life away. For me, I found Christ. Thanks.

@anthony342 I live in Edinboro, PA there is snow on the ground until april, drinking is for the weakminded who have to fill a "void" in their life, some ppl turn to drugs and thats too bad but i fill my void with Jesus.

In the UK a trend towards cheaper alcohol occurred after the clampdown on smoking. The UK government earns billions on the alcohol taxation where it lost billions on the reduction on smoking. It also knows that alcohol is far more addictive and progressive than smoking. Little information up until recently has been publicised on the TV and still not much today. Seems like too much of an inconvenience for them to lose revenue. Over 25% of people in the UK drink over the recommended levels.

I was drunk for 30yrs. Either drinking or looking forward to my next drink. There were some gaps and I'd think I was in control.

I took my last drink 10yrs ago and and my last cigarette 3wks later.

I know now that my alcoholism was the judgement of the Almighty upon me because of my sin. When my sin was forgiven the need and desire to drink and smoke was removed.

I tried many, many times to control my drinking, but never even bothered to give up smoking. The Lord dealt with it all.

I agree. You see I am Native American and Vowed not to ever drink fire water. Though if ppl drink in moderate quantities instead of abusing alcohol it wouldn't be so bad, but the fact is ppl don't drink responsible a lot of the time.
