@TheFatzapper - For starters you might want to try reading a representative sampling of the 'mission statements' for the two types of organizations. - Corporations and governments exist to fulfill different purposes.
bush has left a world to our children that we deal with right now. this mess will take decades to fix and clean up. korten stands for a great organizaton on a great mission. what a wonderful speaker of the TRUTH, something bush and clan have no grasp on or dont care about. many dead in a war on lies that could still be here today. hitler never died thanks to bush. the hope is that org's like this one and others can help contribute to a dramatic/drastic turnaround USA drastically needs!

He's wrong about peak oil? Are you living in a bubble? You better go read some more info on Peak oil. Since this has been predicted in the early 70's. GET WITH IT!
Unless you believe that there is an infinite source of oil that lies under the planet, one that could never be exhausted, then the concept of peak oil can only be challenged in its timing. I don't believe that oil can flow endlessly from the earth particularly in light of the enormous amounts that have been pumped in the past and the unfathomable amounts that could conceivably be pumped in the future.
Lets assume he is wrong. we still need to move towards a more communal and localized energy strategy to combat the notion of centralized privately owned control over our energy. Agree or disagree?

These last 6 years have made the situation so much worse,. unbeliveably so,. will America stay asleep,. and let the fascist bankers apoint a new 'leader' to continue their agenda of greed and destruction??? or will we build a consensus? NOW is the time! or it is too late,. Human values must win over the coruption of the fascist bankers that have benn left to rule us,. NOW!

I have known over my life a good number of politicians & leaders of this country and others, (just visit my MySpace page)
So maybe I can answer your query:
With very little exception, every politician is nearly identical in character to Hollywood actors:
A single-minded drive & need to be "on camera"
And in every case, oddly, all of them are vacuous!
I swear by this phenomenon! Politicians only want to be on cam, & are ignorant intellectually by nature - It's odd!

He's wrong about peak-oil, it's a scam. Although using alternative power is the way we should go now, peak-oil is a preposterous lie.
However, he seems to be very accurate about money and everything else he speaks of...
