Hey man great vids. I just have one question. I originally did this in a similar fashion a while back and ended up installing Axura 2.0.5 and am still running that on my Vibrant firmware version 2.2 So is the Nero a better Rom ? Newer? I guess my main question is do I have to go back to stock mode if I want to install another/different ROM and basically just repeat this process every time I want to check out another one?
Thank you sooooo!!!! much this was the first video that actually helped me keep on doing the good work! and also when i flashed the rom i had no idea that the bionix rom talked to u and it scared the crap out of me! lol
ive done everything youve said and my phone when i put in into recovery says it cant find /sdcard/update.zip.... and i know im putting it on the root of the internal sd... helpp please...?
@MegaMnguyen The backup folder for Titanium Backup? YES you can, Just mount your SD Card to your PC and simply drag the "titanium backup" folder onto your pc.
Thanks a lot man!!! Just got my Vibrant 2 days now, and coming from a certain iProduct I'm a total noob. But this was very easy to follow and no problems whatsoever.
Thanks a bunch cody! Been hesitant to run a custom ROM on my vibrant. Once i watched you videos it seemed like a peice of cake though!! Oh the pain of watching the phone and not touching for those first 15-30minutes!! Great videos you made.

Thank you so much, I have been struggling to get the new bionix to work, I had the default 2.2 Froyo installed and couldn't get this to work for anything.
I watched the part 1 tutorial, went back to stock and then did this one and it worked seamlessly.
Thanks again and you other guys may want to try this if you ran into the same thing.
well I got my vibrant only a week or so ago and im already making the jump to custom goodness. going to try nero v5. following this awesome tutorial as i go :)
@panthar91 ALRIGHT!!! YES =] You wont regret it, Seriously. Better GPS, Better battery life, faster rom, more custom UI. You will absolutely love it. Thanks for stopping in!
I had everything I needed, but couldnt figure out what I was doing wrong. Found that I just needed to flash clock work recovery mod lol. Thanks for the video
i must say you've made me wan't to sell my vibrant, i flashed the nero v4.1 on my friends vibrant today... i cant even understand how is it possible that it is that fast! everything looks much nicer and consumes less battery too! its absolutely amazing!
i would like to add that anyone doing this for the first time should expect a longer process than what the video shows....especially if you've got music and other media on your phone. it takes a while to format all that good stuff.
I wasn't able to log into anything for about 24 hours. I logged in to my Google account to get things started, but none of the apps; Twitter, Seesmic, YouTube, etc. Got a little nervous, but everything seems to be working now. Just wanted to mention it in case anyone else did this and experienced the same. Just give it a little time I guess. And yes, I did let it sit for a good long while after the initial reboot. Pretty strange.
Cody, THANK YOU for taking the time to do these vids. I was happy with my SGS, but rooted after poor battery life became a problem. I never thought I'd be flashing a custom ROM, but your vids made things so easy to follow. Now my Vibrant is simply killer. Thanks again man. I may even fry a friggin' turkey now!
@mdtolic Hey there, You are so very welcome! I hadn't seen something like this out there for us SGS owners. So I figured id have a crack at it! I appreciate your honesty and taking the time to watch these. I like things simple stupid and thats how I presented it in these videos. This ROM will give your vibrant new wings =] Fried turkey is amazing btw, I should have uploaded a vid of me preparing the injection and prepping the turkey. Quite a fun and easy experience. Happy New year! Thanks again

Is it fine to upgrade to bionix v 1.2 straight from nero 3?
w204driver 1 year ago
@w204driver Yep you can go straight up from there. You do not even have to disable Voodoo =]

Glad to hear things are working now! Yeah its quite odd to let your device sit and hang out without using it. It seem to help though =]
