I hate guys who abuse women.. My sister was in a violent relationship 11 yrs ago. She thought she could change him. He did not want to be a man, did not work, or provide for his children. My sister worked 9-5 and he did not cook or clean. She fought him back and she was not scared of him. She got tired of fighting with him with and he gave her hell because when she left him. He would do drive byes by the house for months and she got a restraining after that. He still give her problems..
I grew up where every weekend my mom would get beat up by her punk drunk ass boyfriend. He finally took it a step further and broke into our house, chased her out the back door 2 a neighbors house downstairs, broke n2 their house and stabbed her. When I walked n2 the neighbors house I seen my mom covered in blood @ the age of 8. From the moment I made a vow to myself that I will not have a man put his hands on me in that way. Both of my baby daddies & a few other dudes know this personally.
A big problem with domestic violence is low self esteem. Some dudes are so sly, and mentally fucked up themselves, that they take a perfectly high self esteem woman, and break her down to nothing. That abuse is 20% physical and 10000000% mental and emotional. Once a dude like that gets into a woman's mind, its over. He makes her BELIEVE that she is nothing, therefore, when the hitting starts, she feels like she can't do any better than him, and she feels like she has no choice but to stay.

Thanks for talking on this subject because some of what I hear going on from young girls all the way up to grown women is crazy. A friend of mine actually told me that she felt if a dude didn't put his hands on her then he didn't love her. SMH I didn't even know what to say to her at that point. I grew up where every weekend my mom would get beat up by her punk drunk ass boyfriend. He finally took it a step further and broke into our house, chased her out the back door 2 a neighbors house downstairs, broke n2 their house and stabbed her. When I walked n2 the neighbors house I seen my mom covered in blood @ the age of 8. From the moment I made a vow to myself that I will not have a man put his hands on me in that way. A big problem with domestic violence is low self esteem. Some dudes are so sly, and mentally fucked up themselves, that they take a perfectly high self esteem woman, and break her down to nothing. That abuse is 20% physical and 10000000% mental and emotional. Once a dude like that gets into a woman's mind, its over. i myself am a victim of domestic violence, i agree with wat u sayin however once u walked in someones shoes then u can assume. he controlled everything i had no friends and barely spoke to my family...he broke me down to nothing where i thought i was worthless and thier wasnt anything for me i had no one to turn too. its wen he went after my kids i couldnt do it anymore..so i finally started talkn to my family again and left his ass been without him for 2 yrs now and im so happy without him
