  • Hmm. I think there's something wrong with me; I really like this. Are people forgetting that this is a baroque opera? Her voice fits very well (both to the role and the setting), it's well done (I find her lyrical tone *really* pleasant for this kind of music), even if all the dancing doesn't help her phrases in the most perfect way. Should that really matter? I think a lot of people here have forgotten that opera isn't *just* about singing. I thoroughly enjoyed this; a future great.

  • This offends me so greatly... the production..the poor singing... what in the name of all that is holy is happening here??? Yes, please dance your pretty little self off stage, because my goodness. Why are people clapping? I don't get it. I'm spoiled with the greats of old - Ponselle, Callas, Sutherland, Scotto even as she could work it...but this? This is just a joke. And they WONDER why opera is suffering. Who are these buffoons who are in charge? They need to be FIRED!!!

  • Is this a parody?? This can't be a real production... That is some of the WORST acting, dancing?, singing? and stage foolery I have seen in a LONG time...

  • She did her best like anyone would. Stop being so critical of these singers. How would you like to be singing for so darn long by heart?

  • She is young and pretty and thin. She is providing great visual effect as an singing actress

  • mi piacerebbe scoprire in che lingua canta....eurobrouillard?volgarissima e stupida la regia.

  • She lacks the basic qualities to do this music justice: accuracy, rubato and metric finesse, a sustained and beautiful vocal line.

She sounds like a desperate bird or a broken violin, inhaling audibly between phrases, simplifying florid passages, straying off pitch constantly.

This does not bode well for the future of Handel or early music.

  • i love this opera, but this rendition of it is so totally wrong and ridiculous, it spoils the music for me

  • I just love it!!!

  • RIDICULOUS SET! I think the director doesn't know how to read, the title is Giulio Cesare in Egitto, not John at the Cabaret.

  • Of course she has a microphone to record her voice ...

  • I think she has microfon. Yes her voice is not something special but here in Giulio is good

  • @vedovallegra1 ciertamente seguro que tu cantas mejor ......que morro teneis los aficionados de verdad

  • @gustavoanmosura I didn't want to say that she is not good singer. Her voice is not big,but she allways choice good role for her voice. Here she is pretty good.Nothing else

  • All style and no substance. Why is she faffing about with the silly dancing? She can't even finish a natural phrase. Awful.

  • @beckyberridge She probably is dancing in that manner because it portrays her character. Cleopatra was a young, flirtatious woman who was quite pleased with her seductive abilities. I'll bet you didn't like Natalie Dessay's portrayal with Emmanuelle Haim in Paris about eight months ago either.

  • simplemente lo mejor que he visto

me encanta la articulacion los movimientos =D

    grax por subirlo

  • @alexxsana, tienes razón, es muy rítmica, y no es la unica aria
