I keep my feet apart when skiing fast. When skiing slowly I keep them together because, like a wheel, they pivot better around a single axis than around 2 axis. This is a matter of physics. Do not hold it against me. I did not invent physics.

As dumb as she is, she learned to ski parallel on the steep in a matter of 5 two hour lessons (5x2=10). A testimony of the method's efficiency.
