Then, it went to seven.

By 2005, it was six. Carmit left because because Nicole was lipsyncing to her vocals and getting her spotlight. Now, it's two.

Melody shouldn't stay, to be honest. She was the first to vocally express discontent. The fact she is the last to leave is confusing.

Actually, Carmit left in 2008. Nicole is the only Pussycat Doll left too, Robin Antin just announced it about 2 days ago. All the other girls will be replaced. How many girls will be in the group when PCD is relaunched in not known though. Personally, I think that if Nicole is going to be the only one to ever sing lead then, she doesn't need many other girls in the group to sing back-up.
