@gibbletz take a close look at when the green light comes on and when the licoln moves. actually the reaction time for the lincoln was a .098. yes it wasnt perfect, but it wasnt a red light either. i didnt put this on here for my reaction time. it was put on here for the 1/4 mile time. this was in a test and tune session, and wasnt worried about reaction time. thanks for all the comments.

WOW, the guy in the Capri sucks, but we all know that this would be the only way you would win. No offense, my dad has an '03 Town Car and they're pretty slow, considering a 4.6L V8 makes 239 HP, and my mom's 2004 Chrysler Pacifica makes just about 250 HP with a 3.5L V6. Her old 2005 Toyota Avalon also made just over 250 HP on a 3.5L V6.

not to be a rude trying to know it all but no p71 interceptor has ever made 425 hp in stock trim there between 230-250 hp. a stock 03-04 cobra only made 390 hp and it was a supercharged 4.6 4 valve.

all the panthers platforms i/e town cars MGMs and CVs besides the marauader were 2 valve sohc engines the marauder had a 4.6 4 valve Dohc and it was 302 hp

my dad has a Lincoln Town car and it has the stock 4.6 (like some of the mustangs) it has 220 to 245 horsepower unless u have the interceptor version which is usually around 425 but now this town car has to have well over 600+ cause a stock lincoln town car that weighs 2 ton is gonna go that fast (it could go that fast jus not in that short of distance)

@wildkyler95 The stock 2003 Lincoln Town Car gets 239 horsepower, I SERIOUSLY doubt you can get 200 extra horses out of a modified intake and transmission. It's not happening, end of story. To get 425, it's going to AT LEAST need a supercharger and stripping it down to a bare minimum. As a conclusion, I would like to add that the Interceptor and the Marauder get just about 300 horses, maybe a little more, depending on weight.

@1964mm Its entirely possible actually but not with just intake work. With ported heads, full boltons, cams and high compression pistons its possible. Its been done on mustangs although its not that cheap. It would be even easier if they installed trickflow heads, cams, and intake. Most people end up just getting a super but its not the only way to do it.

The Mark VIII, for you guys, had the 4.6L Cobra engine (well 97% the same) before the Mustang had it. $500 in mods and not even a new processor made mine hit the 12's - Steeda pulley kit, AWSFA12C plugs, 160*tstat, Nology wires, air dam conversion, underbody airbox remdACCEL sparkpacks, Jerrys Trans Mod and a 2700 stall converter = honda killer

I discovered that with turbo engines high lift cams can loose u power, wierd, even my car, the turbo version has 20 degrees less inlet duration.

Friend put a kent cam on an rs turbo, it was horrible.
