I know this is totally random but back then I would also watch WWF and I would always ask myself if Rocksteady had a connection with the Bushwackers since they wore the same damn clothes.

Not all of them, but Bebop and Rocksteady are found in TMNT3 and are essentially the same fights. There's quite a few original bosses/encounters tho in the NES tho.

The Sega game Hyperstone Heist takes a few bosses from the original arcade game as well: Rocksteady and Human Baxter.

Yeah, I agree. This has a better pace, better bosses and it doesn't take forever for the Turtles to get up if they fall down.

Oh shit. I used to play this game when i was 6 or 7 i think. This game is kick ass. One of the best TMNT games.

I always watch out for Rocksteady in the TMNT games, and this is one of his best showings imo. He's pretty tough, in fact, as it's difficult to work a pattern against him. The first of many good boss fights in this game. I must disagree with you on the game's difficulty, however; I still have yet to beat it.

This is one of my favourite Rocksteady fights. He's actually pretty tough, as it's hard to work out a strategy against him, making him very enjoyable to battle, just like in TMNT2. A good boss fight start to a game full of good boss fights, from my favourite TMNT character.

Me neither, as using them takes off one point of your energy. I actually have a real love-hate relationship with them; why have a super-deadly move and not an easily-executable move with which you can kill more bad guys, like in no 2? In that area, no 2 comes out stronger.

I don't think it has come out on the Virtual Console just yet, I'm sure it will though, I doubt Nintendo would be crazy enough to miss a great game like this.

Yeah, I don't really understand why they have only added the first one, personally I love the game but I know many people prefer the other two games. There is an arcade version of TMNT 2 on Xbox Live Arcade, but there might be a chance both the NES version of TMNT 2 and TMNT 3 will be added to the Virtual Console.

I found Rocksteady to be harder than many of the bosses later in the game. Sure, he's weak and dies quickly, but his attack pattern is so random. It's annoying to try to jump kick him 'cause he'll just shoot you with his harpoon gun.

You know what's interesting? Rocksteady does the exact same moves, that he later does in TMNT Hyperstone Heist. :)
