the SIKHS r just 1.4% of total indian population.
one of the pakistani commander who lead paki forces in 71 war wrote in his book the crisis of leadership that"one of the main reason of defeat of paki army was we were fighting against the SIKHS, they prefer to die than going back, they threw their lifes to save their motherland & great traditions.

my grandfather was in army and he fought the battle against pakistan in 1971 i think i am not sure when but he and my grandfather were friends .. my grandpa told me :)
