I played FFVI (or FFIII in japan) on an emulator in like 2007. Didn't have any expectations as my only experience was FFX. The music and story in FFX was so immersive, I loved it. I usually don't find old games as amusing or fantastic as they were back in the days, but when I heard that poorly song known as Terra's theme, I just gazed in sheer amazement. From a fuckin SNES-song as late as 2007. This song made me learn To zanarkand and Terra's theme on the piano and even a bit on guitar. Damn

This brought a tear to my eye. I remembering watching my cousin play this on PS1 on the Anthology collection when we shared a room, well, actually it was a storage unit (we lived in my families hotel), and we had stayed up all night but he still stayed awake playing this game the next day. As I watched, he eventually dropped the controller and crashed on the floor, leaving the game all by its mystical, magical, self. I didn't even play the game but even at a young age i saw its worth.

This has always been, and always will be, my favorite Final Fantasy song. I have always loved this. I always will. It's just beautiful. The two "dislikes" so far have one of three problems:

1. They're deaf.

2. They missed the like button.

3. They're metal heads who know nothing but how to "rock out".

This song is just beautiful. Those two dislikes have no impact on the 400+ likes so far. And I love this song. Most beautiful song I know of. Even more than Suteki da Ne IMO.

It's Terra. Her original hair colour (if that is why you think it's Celes) is blonde, but when they made the game it turned green (look up on wiki/google if you need proof). Also that's her outfit. Amazing cover of the song btw! ;)

I think he may one day be listed among the great composers, even if it is after his lifetime and after people accept music composed for games as being high art as music for musicals and cinema is more and more accepted as high art when it is good. He is an absolute genius, though.

The fact that they have survived so long and still contain so much complexity is what makes them great. Currently Nobuo is receiving much attention from music lovers, much like the great composers received during their time. If nobuo's music lasts that long then he will be a great composer as well. i hope so.
