@redlawrence26 Just remember, creating for yourself is more important that just creating for others. alot of magicians now of days just create to try to get "famous" or to get the next big dvd or download. This is not what our goal as magicians should be though. we should strive to enhance the ART. Alot of magicians will say magic is an art, but look at what they have done and ask yourself, are they treating it as one?
@redlawrence26 what does painting, photography, dancing, music, or filmography share with magic? alot of times i see people performing magic, but it isnt an art, its a cheap entertainment form. with premade scripts out of the box, to even the same jokes and silent moments you'll see in dvd productions. what we need to do is create for ourselves and make it our style. So how can we take a marketed effect, and make it our own? thats what it comes down to. BTW thanks alot man! i hope you get there!
