War...it turns the nicest of people into pure blood thirsty killers, the violent side of which is designated 'Human' comes out...all species fight for dominance but the Human Race evolved that fighting into pure hell...
I have a feeling humanity will be history before our violent little species evolves out of our constant need for war. War is, after all the ultimate compitation. It demands the ultimate wager (your life), and delivers the ultimate prize (your survival). Anyone who has been in contact, and has made horror their friend is forever changed. For some its leaves them crippled, and for others it opens your eyes to what is truely important in life....
war is rich ppl, which know each other, they fight each other, but they dont kill each other, and pur ppl, which dont know each other, they kill each other, and they die for the rich ppl ... it is sad but unfortunatly true :(
@oeyesea Yeah, its unfortunate because the people on each side are generally all alright people and war just turns them into monsters. The sickness of politics allows this to happen its disgusting, then afterwards once the bodys have piled up the politicians turn round and shrug their shoulders with their hollow apologies.
@Smith_Hary Pay attention please Everyone who watched that movie understood about two war's lessons. There's a war against a kind of enemy; First enemy is people from other country and Second one when the enemy is ourselves. Think about it. It's happenning all world long. Thanks a lot my old friends.
This film despite being a violent warfilm actually holds very deeply in my heart. A writer, how brilliant he may be,is bound to his loss. But the beast, which heart is filled with this music, has the courage to look beyond his own sex and see the white thing coming along-it is the goal towards all music is floating-no personification of a mythical figure at all.It is the

A soldier died in the field of battle and came up to the gates of heaven, where he met God. He said to God," Lord, I know I did many things i ain't proud of, and many more that you won't approve of, so if you send me to hell, I won't argue." God stood there for a moment, and then turned to the gatekeeper of heaven. "Let him in", he said.? The gatekeeper, confused, asked why. God looked down at the soldier and said," This man just came from hell."

You all take a good look at this lump of shit. Remember what it looks like. You fuck up in a firefight... and I goddamn guarantee you a trip out of the bush - in a body bag! Out here, assholes, you keep your shit wired tight at all times! And that goes for you, shit-for-brains. You don't sleep on no fuckin' ambush! And the next sum'bitch I catch coppin Z's in the bush, I'm personally gonna take an interest in seein' him suffer. I shit you not. Doc, tag him and bag him!
2646 still missing from the Vietnam war. Many were tortured to death! YES this is our nations most terrible war! Our Nation's Government has much too answer for! Their Dishonor runs Deep! How long will you believe their lies?
I have meet many from this war and I myself have fought in three others. I have seen so many die! For what? Certainly not for freedom, because when we left we did'nt leave freedom, we only left dead. And we left ourselves there as well or at least a piece. Because it will never leave those that fought there. For me it was'nt my war, but I fought my own. But some might argue its case for our worst war, but I have seen its scars and know its pain! NEVER FORGET THOSE THAT WERE LEFT BEHIND!
@reconco27 very well spoken and from heart! just as the picture says in the video (the first casualty of war is innocence) how you felt about that war is how i feel about todays wars! never question the bravery or todays soldiers i question the judgement of our leaders! i watch friends and family come home with no legs or in boxes all of them to young and what are they fighting for ? so a corporation can have political influence to increase its monthly profit margin? shame on our leaders!
America need to find its roots, though i am well aware that their current status was forced upon them by having to save Europe and act as a counter-weight to Soviet. But Soviet is gone.
My patriotism, for I am patriot, doesn´t include sending my loved ones half across the globe to kill and be killed. For truly, half across the globe is where Americans fight these days. These Americans thinking this way are often considering themsleves and are considered by others to be conservatists, when in reality, only a hundred years ago, America was even more demilitarized and unwilling to do military adventures than Sweden is now.
"As a parent, I am encouraging my adolescent son to read this book so that he will understand what others have done and what he may one day be called upon to do for his country." Now, this sounds like some Victorian parent 150 years ago. She/he almost sounds eager to send the son out to war. Is it vanity, is it indoctrination, is it 'patriotism'?. It´s obviously a republican, and usually I agree with republicans - but this is sick.
The other day I was looking for "Men At War" on Amazon, and found it along with a top-stared review by a customer. She or he was a teacher, and thought the book had accomplished it´s goal (Hemingway wanted it to give a true picture of war). How she/he knows that I don´t know, maybe she/he has done service, but I doubt it, given what she/he wrote next:
every man that went to this war is a total hero wether they died or lived through it.. I dont care they all deserve to be listed as heros and to be looked up to. I know they feel the loss at killing and seeing so much death but I really do honor them for the pain they went through.. Love you guys and honor you forever including you dad thank you so much for your sacrifice....
war is terrible but it is a necessary sacrifices, what a dick of a thing to say, you dont see any of the people that are starting the wars getin their asses shot to peaces .
Those for which there is nothing they would take up arms to defend deserve neither liberty, nor life. And they will both merely exist as slaves, and die.

All wars are terrible, people were killed and tortured at every single one of them.

NEVER FORGET THOSE THAT WERE LEFT BEHIND!
reconco27 1 year ago 7
