  • Keep adding compost and water to your Goji plants, and they will give you Goji Berries all summer long. I have about 8 pounds dried, and plenty of fresh to eat till it freezes.

    I LOVE GOJI BERRIES!!!!

  • @ifsandwhys No it's not you dumbfuck. You obviously don't know how to play chess to stop trying to be a smart arse.

  • What's so spiritual about charging people a million bucks to listen to your crap. He promotes chocolate. What a f*n idiot. The biggest charlatan of the health food world. This guy is so full of crap. He thinks he is so spiritual because he wears stupid clothes, makes up crap about the sun, and is rich enough to travel to south america. Yes organic vegetables and nuts can be bought for one tenth of the price at you local store.

  • dried goji berries have a weird taste. The outside is bitter but the inside is kinda sweet like a raisin. I wouldnt eat them straight. I eat them in combination with nuts.

  • Who IS this Goji girl ? I would love to meet her

  • @jacksdigitalshack Overeating? They're tiny little goji berries and it looked like she was eating them one at a time. Why such harsh judgment? Also, fat? Not sure what you're talking about, she looks to be quite thin actually: 2:58 Do you just troll raw food videos on youtube all day? Is that fun?

  • @christinagandolfo not too mention those berries arent fattening.. they're highly antioxident..

  • @christinagandolfo Either way, these people are aware of superfoods, one day they will make fun of them in front of one of their parent's or parent's friends, and they will look at them and say how awesome superfoods are! :D In the end, "evolution" wins, spiraling outwards and onwards... some are just low in their coils at the moment. haha

  • I live in an art colony, so the bushes are not mine actually...but I have claimed one for myself....:-) And yes, we live in East Mesa...

  • Where did you get your infomation from, cause I just saw another video that says that "Free Life" has been misleading folks with false knowledge.

  • I've found several Goji bushes on my property here in Mesa, Arizona!!

Are there any varieties that are poisonous?

  • @azsoen If chemical free I will buy them from you. Only place I saw them in AZ is East Mesa Apache Junction area. I been told they grow all over AZ. Not sure whats up but I don't see them all over AZ....lol

  • I didn't know that fresh goji berries were 10 times more potent when fresh instead of dried... very cool! Need to find fresh goji berries up north then! Thanks for sharing David... much appreciated!

  • Does anyone know of a specific place they can be found growing wild in Arizona?

  • @jacksdigitalshack

what fat???????? she is not fat!

  • mmm goji girl...

  • @spruntfemalespray i've had mine for about 6 months now and they're about 7 inches high

  • Comment removed

  • @spruntfemalespray Goji berry plants are easy to grow once they are established. They will grow in almost any type of soil, light-sandy, Medium-loamy, and heavy-clay, but they tend to flower and fruit better in a well drained soil of moderate quality.

Goji Berry plants have an extensive root system and are very drought tolerant once established. Goji Berry plants prefer full sun to partial shade, but plant them in full sun for the best Goji Berry production.

  • @spruntfemalespray just brought em inside today

im in vancouver and it's getting cold..my biggest one i planted this summer is another 7 inches high

  • I love how that redhead gobbles down the berries while he speaks :)

  • These are grown in the good ole US of A. wake up lenny

  • goji berries are no better than any other berry. The best berries are right here in the ole US of A. Blueberries, strawberries, boysenberries, blackberries, bilberries, gooseberries, we have so many here and they are all superfoods. Why do I need to buy a berry in a plastic bag from another country? Bogus.

  • @lenny10marlin

most berries do have a lot of antioxidants in them relative to other foods that are easily accessible. Goji berries are one of the highest in regards to their antioxidant properties. Much moreso than blueberries, strawberries etc...they're alkaline (anti-acidic), complete protein source(name another berry that's a complete protein lol) and also contain many trace minerals like zinc, copper, etc..

No ones forcing you to buy them though :)

  • how many should you consume a day? and are the ones from the health food stores still great 4 u? n i'm reading Amazing Grace now - the BEST READ EVER! Lool

  • watch?v=wrfQaErWd6E

  • just wondering why David wears that same shawl all the time?

  • @meow98 why not? if I was him, I would.

  • when he says it's a complete protein cuz it has all amino acids he's not differentiating it from other fruits cuz EVERY FRUIT HAS EVERY AMINO ACID, google it.

but i do love my goji berries and am growing my own in my backyard :)

  • CMon Raw Foodys lets get to spreading this guys work! Lets make this attitude towards food worldwide! Imagine a world were everyone had daniel vitalises and this guys veiws right now! Things would change drasticly! So lets do it, they got the message all we have to do is spread it!

  • nice

  • Cool video!

But it's funny how at the end he says "who knew?".

People have known about , and have been eating Goji berries for centuries.

That's how he knows about them.

  • @SaintThomas2009 hes referring to the current population, because a high majority actually dont know

  • @dudemandingo11...

Currently, throughout Asia, goji/wolf berry consumption is very popular, common place even...Asia makes up for more than half of the world's "population". In recent years throughout Europe, its consumption is such that it is no longer considered a novelty.

To say "who knew?" just striked me as a bit overzealous.

What you mean to say is, that Mr. Wolfe is referring to the current population and majority of the American marketplace. Which would be true.

  • @SaintThomas2009 im glad you realized that, but why are you wasting your time thinking so hard about one comment he made?

  • @dudemandingo11...

You should be glad for yourself!!! Clearly, it's you who has realized.

As for your question, it's no waste, nor at all hard for me to help someone express themselves with specificity and clarification.

  • @SaintThomas2009 I was wonering if you exactly the time and dates for the season, for collecting wild arizon agoji berries.

  • @SaintThomas2009 I didn't know about them until I learned about them from him. A lot of foods have been eaten for centuries that have become forgotten by post-industrial Americans. I am only now learning about foods growing in my own backyard and have other friends in the same situation.

  • nicely done video work, and Arizona here I come! Organic Dan

  • We've decided to plant Goji in out garden. We live in the Twin Cities. Usually a couple nights a year, the temperature will drop to -15, but I've heard of Goji surviving -35. I can't wait!

  • @torofighter and how did that go??? I want to grow some in NC.

David - could you send me 2 berries in an envelope so I get my hands on some seeds? You look so naturally connected to nature and I'd trust you much more than the ridiculously with complaints overladen online "nurseries".

  • this just reminded me why goji berries help with focus so much, the betaine! - i think

  • Question, Aren't goji berries supposed to turn black when touched by human hands? I always thought they were shaken off the tree and then left to dry so the oxidation reaction can't occur?

  • Exactly, I was wondering myself. That is what my Chinese friend has told me. The berries are left to drop off the tree (bush) and dry on the ground and then they are picked off the ground. She also mentioned that Chinese people consider Goji as a medicinal plant and therefore is consumed as such according to their JING/JANG system in moderation and always cooked!!! Like in soups or stews.

  • @materidouska286

you can cook it if you want, but why kill 50% of the nutrients in it, when you can just eat it raw?

  • I eat them raw myself as well, but a comment of my Chinese friend has made me wonder. The same apply to Napa cabbage, she would NEVER eat it raw, as my friend has told me. I do not question the fact that heating kills plenty of nutrients, vitamins, enzymes and stuff but sometimes I just think that there might be a reason why they do so for thousands of years with success. Just a thought.

  • Before man figured out how to make fire they lived on a 100 percent raw diet for millions of years. Now that we have advanced science we can actually see that cooking plants is a waste

  • Does he smoke? His teeth don't look healthy man.

  • hey kids, here's another secret..if you want to be a superhero, eat mescaline AND goji berries

  • HAHAHAHA

  • And nice to see Goji Girl doing her thing ;)

  • Love it!
