Why the WRX spoiler?

takes a decent amount of weight off the rear which really improves handling and drift control. Sacrifice some high speed traction to do it but I never road raced or anything so a wing that is made to keep the ass end down at 120mph+ really had no benefit for me. Autocross, rall-x etc I really noticed the rear end feeling lighter and more predictable.

@rallysoob Did you even weigh the difference between the two wings? Seriously dude, it can't even be more than 2-3 pounds. That's less than half a gallon of fuel! However, the rex wing does attract a lot less police attention...

team oneill has a great rally school. do that.

the STi isn't really set up out of the box for drifting on dry pavement.

RallySchool would be better. Once you learn how to throw the car around on slippery surfaces you will already have the basics of street drifting down. STi drifts great on street already too... best thing to do is practice on your own time in a gravel/dirt parking lot or back road.

you had a few corners that were a little ugly when you wnt through them but other than that nice driving man, nice to see that your a smart person and invested in the STI rather than a garbage EVO. By the way ive got one question, do you have any understeer when your on dirt?

understeers every corner, dirt or not. But you can utilize it by pumping gas to the front wheels. Notice how my front wheels are turned before turn and then gassing the front wheels to turn the car. Basic rally skill..

I always get some understeers with STI, but you seem to control that handbrake very well.

Try an EVO next time, almost the same power but "I" thing it got more control.

EVO is a bad word where I'm from... They don't handle better, They are just easier for a beginner to drive. STi's understeer IS BALANCE when your on loose surface. EVO=Garbage
