Just stop going to zoos and eventually the zoos will release the animals back to their natural environment! I hate cages! Some people take pleasure in seeing animals or people in cages... Hopefully all this will change in the future :)

I find this kind of zoo behavior very sad. It's an animal with instinct to travel, often dozens of miles a day. Then, humans confine it to a tiny cage. Out of boredom, they do these repetitive activities, almost mimicking the repetitive action of physical travel. The Calgary zoo had a polar bear with the same problem. Stir crazy.

Aparently zoo got a baby wolverine and put it in a same habitat with beavers.

Curious - this was in a zoo? I don't think it's faked because the camera wobble means it's not a simple repeat.

Is this a bored animal exhibiting stereotypic behaviour? I've seen an otter doing incessant cartwheels in the water and patrolling the same route through her enclosure apparently for that reason.

@sleekweasel its in a zoo, you wont spot a wolverine in the wild, they are nocturnal by nature and very reclusive, in a zoo they are trained to be playful or they dont get to eat. All the zoo wolverines are so cute and cuddly, but a wild wolverine is the scariest thing you'll ever see.

thats how it tracks its prey, it gets a song stuck in their head then follows to the sound of the prey humming the beat. But what is even less known is that the black bear will often play the keyboard off in the distance inorder to assist the wolverine, since the bear owes the wolverine $36.82.
