very true. Do you know the part between de Grote markt and de Vismarkt? pedestrians crossing the road and people with bicycles almost hitting them, allthough they never actually do. Now that's efficiency

Mario, the street you just rode in (Herestraat), it's actually actually (semi-) forbidden to ride your bike, you'll have to walk with, just like most of the folks in the vid. But, the stuff you said was true anyway :).
I didn't know it's forbidden to ride bicycle on Herestraat. You can see the people in the video did not panic or become aggitated, so it seemed OK. In America, if you ride a bicycle near folks who only drive automobiles, they become VERY disturbed. I have had Americans actually strike me as I come near, and parents will begin to protect their children from afar. Thank yu for comment :-)
I miss NL so much David. I envy you for living there and experience more life where bicycles are used. In US, although where I live it's pretty bicycle friendly, very few actually live with bicycle as primary transportation. You are so lucky to live in NL. Thank you for comment :-)

This road is a forbidden zone for bikes... :) haha
Only early in the morning and late in the evening, read it on the roadsigns in the beginning and at the end.

You shouldn't ride a bike in the Herestraat. It's meant for pedestrians.
