Very very cool man! I have a similar setup, minus the Kaoss pad and I use a Novation Ultranova instead of the Microkorg. I've been trying to sync up my RC-50 with the MPC1000. I use the MPC as master for drum loops and the RC-50 as slave for synth/bass loops, the tempos are matched.
But I can't figure out how to PRECISELY match the loop length on the RC-50 with the loop on my MPC. I'm trying to do it manually on the RC-50 but the loops eventually go out of sync.
@neronyves1 I've honestly never played around with syncing my equipment up via MIDI. Everything I do with looping is manual. Sorry I couldn't be of more help
@neronyves1 i tried several "methods" to run the rc50 as slave and kp3 as the master but it´s pain in the ass.
it doesn´t work like i wanted to. there must be already a clip recorded (can be a silent one) to tell the rc50 how long the loop gonna be.
i use the rc50 as master now and i got used to it. it works (not always, something like 98% and even with very good midi cables and a proper midi splitter...) but i use it very very often
@BallparkFranky Nice. It's a fun set-up, that's for sure. However, I did replace the MPC with some other equipment recently.
Nothing is currently synced via midi. I've been meaning to do so though because I'm sure there's a lot you can do with it. I've only tried syncing the Microkorg to the MPC once and that was pretty cool because the arpeggiator and other effects could be set to the tempo of the MPC.

Any ideas??!?!

Good shit man, I have pretty much everything in this video except the RC-50, sub KP3 for the 2. Pretty much jam this same way. Props for sure.
Just curious if you sync any of these via midi?
and if so what the chain is?
Keep the videos comming!
