hi, ive tried following the steps to download but it deletes my whole desktop and i can't do anything at all, is this because its not compatible with 10.10. thanks!
I like gnome-shell, but I miss Wobbly Windows sooo much and I don't really know why. It just seems empty and boring when dragging a window without it being wobbly.
Is there, or will there be any way of having Wobbly Windows on and having gnome-shell?
I find that i dont miss compiz at all when running gnome shell if you would like gnome shell to run at login just create a launcher for gnome-shell --replace and out it in your start up apps
The application menu remins me of vista (cringes horribly), however it looks pretty cool. Compiz seems to lag up my desktop, so i may try this out soon...
Oh thanks. I got it installed! I really don't like it. It's not for everyday use. Why would someone want a whole window for the workspaces? :s I wish this deosn't make it to ubuntu as the default environment. I really love the current gnome. :(
"i was able to fix the error that a lot of people are getting about jhbuild. all i did was run sudo apt-get install python-dev and selected option number 1. it worked fine"
I got errors when installing in "6 of 7" and "7 of 7". Now when I try to run it, it tells me that there is no such directory. Please help me, allah yekhaleek!
How can I get all the icons at the bottom like you have?

thank you!
yeah, i found out a few mins after posting.
docky really ties gnome-shell together! gnome-shell would be a bit annoying with out it. 1+1 = 2
