Khan entered the webway. Vulkan disappeared and Corax headed for the eye of terror. Only Sanguinius, Rogal Dorn and Ferrus Manus are confirmed to be dead from the loyalist Primarchs.
With the current (41k) fault in the golden throne and the adeptus unable to find a fix putting the emperor in peril and potentially bringing chaos to the imperium, I think that a good future storyline is that when a marine chapter finds a relic on a space hulk, it turns out to be one hair of Horus. With the DNA, horus is cloned and with the help of the eldar, his soul returned from oblivion. A chance for the fallen son to Redem himself.
@TemplarReturn Horus is given a chance to once again lead from the front. the Lunar woles Chapter is created once more and order brought to the imperium. Chaos once again tempts Horus but this time the fallen Son does the right thing. With the Lunar wolves, he inflicts terrible losses on the ruinious powers and comes close to outight victory,

@TemplarReturn I dont think there is any chance of Horus coming back to redeem himself.The Emporer completely annihilated his soul.The attack used by the Emporer was so powerful it even sent the Chaos Gods running in fear,there is a high possibility that Leman Russ or The Lion can return,But Horus is Never coming back,nor should he for that matter.

@Darkben1 Which may also explain why he suddenly cut off all contact with is sons to work on his golden throne and made Horus warmaster in the first place. His golden throne was originally meant to be used as a gateway and a tool to access and manipulate the Eldar webway, if he had finished his work there he could have basically moved humanity into the webway with terra as a hub and never have to explain to anyone about the existence of chaos or gods.

The emperor didn't believe in gods or religion. Shunning and outlawing religion all together. but when he discovered the warp entities and the daemons and the fucking chaos GODS. He may have had a very human issue of owning up to his mistakes and telling billions including his sons that he was wrong.

but i could never figure out if he was that unstable how has he lived 1000000 million years after the battle. and why hasnt his body grown back slightly over that time.

@LeBearExtrordinare -Yea, Fulgrim indeed had a chaos weapon, the way I read it in the books is that a lot of his captains warned him not to touch it, because it was on this planet full of aliens called the laer, so common sense tells you not to touch it. That is also the reason why he killed Ferrus Manus, his closest brother. Demons were whispering in his head that if he didn't kill Ferrus, then he would kill Fulgrim. It was kinda true though.
@LeBearExtrordinare As i recall, the Emperor's injuries were the reason the golden throne was modified after Horus' defeat - originally the Emperor planned to simply step into it and use his power to aid mankind, his divine body affording him no need of sustenance. However, his injuries forced the imperium to modify the chair to sustain his remaining cells for as long as possible while his mind and soul fought on in the warp to prevent a major rift from repopening on Terra.
It would be interesting to see how GW will move the plot forwards... Perhaps the Emperor is ressurrected.. Perhaps another great crusade? Exciting no?

Actually, historically speaking and looking at all of the events that transpired in the Warhammer universe, the Fall of the Eldar is the most pivotal event to have happened. In Horus Heresy was birthed the Chaos Space Marines, and split mankind into pieces. However, the Fall gave birth to Slaanesh, a freakin' Chaos god. It also drained the souls of all creatures in the ENTIRE universe who could not get away in one blink of an eye. The Fall was much more devastating I think.

The titan looks like a Warlord class, without the shoulder-mounted turbo lasers, but 'Galaxy In Flames' mainly concerns itself with an Imperator (which is considerably bigger, and more citadel-shaped in silohuette).
Can't remember if there is much mention of Reavers, but the outline looks like a mesh between the Reaver (weapons) and Warlord (bulkiness).
I find it funny that the Imperium is fighting chaos. And the only way for humanity to survive is to side with Chaos. The Emperor knows this yet he is too big headed to understand

...there really is no point in fighting in warhammer 40k. you KNOW you're going to burn in hell, as there is no patron of good in the universe - only evil daemons. Even the God- Emperor is nothing like he pretends to be. The Tau say that they fight for the "greater good", but they really just want to make sure tat ethereals control everything. i mean i know the battle with horus left him "mortally wounded" for all eternity.
but i could never figure out if he was that unstable how has he lived 1000000 million years after the battle. and why hasnt his body grown back slightly over that time.
i mean kidneys grow back all organs repair themselves. and these men are beyond normal medical care. they are into perma living status so why not make primarch agn

@LeBearExtrordinare No, didn't fulgrim receive the interex sword stolen from the hall of devies as a gift from horus, the one that almost killed the warmaster himself, it was forged by xenos called kinebrach and first chaplain erebus stole it, and gave it to the renegade guard captain on the moon of Davin that captain Loken retreived it was weird you had to say the name of the person you were fighting and it would like kill them so they woudnt regenerate

@LeBearExtrordinare -Yea, Fulgrim indeed had a chaos weapon, the way I read it in the books is that a lot of his captains warned him not to touch it, because it was on this planet full of aliens called the laer, so common sense tells you not to touch it. That is also the reason why he killed Ferrus Manus, his closest brother. Demons were whispering in his head that if he didn't kill Ferrus, then he would kill Fulgrim. It was kinda true though.

@LeBearExtrordinare As i recall, the Emperor's injuries were the reason the golden throne was modified after Horus' defeat - originally the Emperor planned to simply step into it and use his power to aid mankind, his divine body affording him no need of sustenance. However, his injuries forced the imperium to modify the chair to sustain his remaining cells for as long as possible while his mind and soul fought on in the warp to prevent a major rift from repopening on Terra.

Actually, historically speaking and looking at all of the events that transpired in the Warhammer universe, the Fall of the Eldar is the most pivotal event to have happened. In Horus Heresy was birthed the Chaos Space Marines, and split mankind into pieces. However, the Fall gave birth to Slaanesh, a freakin' Chaos god. It also drained the souls of all creatures in the ENTIRE universe who could not get away in one blink of an eye. The Fall was much more devastating I think.

i agree with HellgateCA, and Ahriman is the best, and slaanesh sucks, go chaos and necrons... and some space marines...dark eldar, slaaneshi armies, and inquisition be damned... don't really care about tau, IG, Orks, or any other special armies, normal eldar are ok... anyway the point is obviously Thousand Sons rule and are the best traitor legion, not to mention they have a valid reason to be pissed at the imperium.

The titan looks like a Warlord class, without the shoulder-mounted turbo lasers, but 'Galaxy In Flames' mainly concerns itself with an Imperator (which is considerably bigger, and more citadel-shaped in silohuette).
Can't remember if there is much mention of Reavers, but the outline looks like a mesh between the Reaver (weapons) and Warlord (bulkiness).
