@TheCrazyCarpenter91 There is a new limited version of the "old one", unfortunately with a clip (very ugly on this knife, in my opinion). Google for "Böker Special Run Micarta" and you'll find it. Strangely, it seems not to have a name on its own.
@roaringwaterbay Well, there are a few (not many) nice jobs here and there. For example two really nice shops in Paris. But in general I order most of my knives through internet, except if I happen to come near one of these shops.
I mainly discuss European knives, because (except for Spydercos) I usually prefer their style over American knives - purely a matter of taste as I rarely like tactical designs.
is relay the nicest gentlemen classic knife iv seen at list in your videos, until watching your videos i didn't found classic knife charming, but now i find them very elegance and charming.
small remark about videos, if you can increase audio volume, & make Full HD videos,
Thanks for your feedback. I am aware of the video limitations of my little digital photo camera, and I am thinking of buying a new one whose video (and audio) is better. Until then, I will check if I can easily increase the audio volume already.
I visit Trier every year, a lovely city, and a good starting point for hunting down top quality Riesling wine (actually I've been thinking of adding wine review videos, but I don't have the terminology and eloquence of true wine specialists).
For some reason I never noticed Schmelzer, but will do next time!
Nice! Schmelzer is located right on the main square (Hauptmarkt). It' s really a nice shop with an excellent selection and hard to miss for any knife nut;)
I think you probably have more than enough eloquence to produce wine reviews. Would love to see some, as a good quality Riesling (not easy to find day to day in the UK!) is a thing of joy.
Did you find out the name of the old one?
Otherwise you could send Böker a picture of it and ask them, they sould be able to tell you.
I realy like your Videos, realy enjoy to see these non-tactical blades.
