It doesn't hurt much, just shock...kinda like when you bite your tongue and your shocked but then its gone, I think it varies for everyone else on how long it hurts for, my pain lasted for a few seconds and didn't hurt at all after

it doesn't hurt getting snake bites? idk why it took urs so long. My guy just clamped my limp out after marking the spots for it, then stabs a needle through, puts the ring in... repeats again after that. New needle and all... But ya its just a slight sting

definitely did way better than me the first time. I got my lip pierced and had two seizures. My friend did it at my house, i went into the bathroom to mouthwash, and fell over, hit my head on the tub and convulsed. Way to go :)

it might swell, it depends on how your body takes it, If it rejects it then yeah it will swell, well either way it will swell a little. but, I have them (: aslong as you take good care of them and clean it regularly and try not to smoke within the first month or so? Just clean it alot and take good care of it you should be fine :)

Lip piercing holes close in about an hour and one half. It would be nearly impossible to put the snakebites in after school.

it's used to make a mark where the needle is going. the piercer makes the mark then should ask you if you the placement. then you get pierced.

Getting snakebites do hurt. I got mine done and the initial piercing didn't really hurt at all, its mostly the soreness that follows usually the next day. To those that don't really have a high pain tolerance, if you get them and it hurts like hell, if you can stick with it for 3-7 days you'll be glad you did.

It varies a little from person to person but if you've had them in for a couple of months you should be able to keep them out for a few hours. I've had mine for about 3 years so I can take them out for days. The better you take care of them, the better and quicker they'll heal up.

You have to wait atleast a month before taking them off for a while.

I got snakebites done about 3 weeks ago, and it is really not as bad as you'd think. They put the clamp on you, and when they push the needle through, you barely even feel it. Just a sharp pain for a second, and then it's barely even sore like a bruise for the next little while. Honestly, when you get it done, you'll say "That didn't hurt at all!" So don't be nervous, okay?

heyall, i got snakebites,septum and eyebrow. Eyebrow was my first, septum next and snakebites are fairly new. On a scale 1-10 id say about 4 and eyebrow about 3, it goes pretty fast but the pain in septum is about 7-8 so.. It does hurt, i am quite pain immune but im not a wuzz who sais it doesnt hurt. But its realy rewarding afterwards.. i just sat there smiling and talking when i got pierced.. And DONT ignore the pain.. then it will chock you ^^ my tip.

actually in the US you can be any age to get them done with parental consent. I was on holiday in Pennsylvania last year and got them done while I was 12.

When the needle goes into the lip you feel a small pain, much like pinching on the arm but the pain goes once its through *count to 1 thats all it takes*

And you feel a small pinch when the needle comes back out but that goes again also.

As of now the only pain i get with them is getting used too eating with them as im used to eating like a pig and sometimes chew it.

There is no other pain to it.

**note Most, if not all places will use a numbing agent, i had an alcohol rub - was fun (H)

The pliers are to hold the lip down so can get a clean and clear pierce. Otherwise he could end up messing up the angle or accidently pierce her gums.
