Some devs are against this because of the profit but you have to understand, you will be better off winning more from interactive and "emotion" apps because people will actually click them
i was originally opposed to this and while i still am not a big fan i dont all-together hate it now because it is really just a better way to do what is already done on apps, annoying advertising
what everyone seems to be forgetting is the fact that advertising funds almost everything on the internet and is a strong part of our economy. atleast they are doing their best to make them interesting and fun whilst at the same time giving you the easy option to back out and quit. fair play i say.
Real estate is very limited on our phones and i don't want an ad taking up what little space i have. Plus its very distracting. Its like you're in the middle of a conversation and someone else in the room is wearing bright colored clothing yelling at the top of their lungs, "look at me!" Its obnoxious.
This formula is certainly not the holy grail if there ever was one.

It's also an easy way for Apple to decide what ads are accepted or not, for instancce you can count on there being no ads for Android lol, or next version of Windows or even competing software.
