lol I see a lot of comments hating on each other but both of you drive ***** cars with good sound systems. Both of the systems you 2 listed sound probably close in strength (overall RMS power/loudness) but neither of them are *good* sound systems. Sony bazooka subs are miserable for sound quality and just because you have amps that can push out huge power doesn't mean the sound quality is clean. Spend that money upgrading your rusty cars instead of annoying your neighbors.

If you're going to buy your car based on the size of woofers you can fit then you might have some issues. You can fit these two 15's in almost any full-sized sedan, and with some work and imagination you can fit these in a small coupe. It's all about how you build your enclosure.

theyd do well in any box it is a matter of preference, but if you wanna put a dd in a sealed box better be a damn sturdy box or it will explode

putting your subs in a ported box is more of a matter of what kind of music you usually listen to. Or just how loud you want your bass to be. The point of a ported box is to produce a lower frequency and improve output/spl

if you're looking for the musicality or SQL out of your subs, keep your box sealed. If you want it to get as loud and low as possible, port that shit.
