Actually you can shave yourself with a straight razor I do and it is the only way I can shave without getting razor bumps. I will admit it was difficult to get used to but I can shave quickly now, have a clean shave, and no cuts.
If I have to contort myself into some weird yoga position just to be able to shave then it's not worth it. Just use a fuckin electric razor. You'll get out of the bathroom an hour earlier and you won't feel like you're auditioning for a local circus
You are on the right track by staying away from those mach3 fusion newfangled things, it could have been alot worse. Also try something more slippery than cream. The better the lube, the better the razor glides.
You seem to going somewhat fast, try going slower to avoid knicks here and there, other than that your form looks really good. I have been shaving with a straight edge since the begining of this year and I love it I will never go back to conventional razors. It took me about 2 shaves to get the jist of it, now I am able to do it with both hands.

You don't shave Yourself with a straight edge razor. It's really hard to angle the blade correctly and really easy to cut yourself.
