  • Beautiful harmony and orchestration.

  • some of the horses in that video are mine and my sister and the goats are mine. Ray batchelor is my great grandad

  • I used to ride at Coopers Lane Road about 35 years ago. I recognised so many of those views, thank you. The music is perfect.

  • Thanks for your comments. I Remember the stables in Coopers Lane Road. I knew some Girls who rode there around that time. Sharon and Kim Joseph, and Samantha and Kim Mare (or Maher, I am unsure of Spelling. And someone Called Janie Contacted me on Facebook Saying She rode there in the 70s.

  • I would have ridden there from about 1972 until the early 80s. I was painfully shy and didn't speak to many people although I spent pretty much the whole weekend there! I remember a girl called Carolyn who had her own horse and Candy who took out the rides on a Saturday. I used to ride Star, Foxy, Fleck, Cocoa (he only had one eye), Taffy, Bay and my favourite, Polly until someone bought her. Oh yes, and Ray Batchelor who owned/ran the stables. Oh, the memories!

  • Was the Girl Candy Glenister. Candy Glenister would have Been about 15 in 1972.

In your other Message on my Channel, you mention "Oakroyd Avenue". Do you remember the Controversy surrounding a Mr and Mrs Watson in the early 1970s. They were a Christian Family who Fostered some Coloured Children, and the local National Front Candidate Peter Applin Campaigned against them. it was on "News at Ten". I have been Searching for that News Item, but I have had no Luck so far.

  • I never knew her surname but it seems likely. I was a very young 11 year old then and she seemed very grown up to me, but it could well have been her.

I will message you about Mr & Mrs Watson.

  • I enjoyed their take on this song originally done by the Brothers Four.Dusty was awesome but the lads were very underrated talents.

  • don't let Gordon Brown see this, he'll want to build over it

  • WOW AGAIN!!! Potters Bar is beautiful... I have never heard that song before. It is a perfect fit to your video, Piggie. Thanks for sharing.

Texan feeling very British at the moment!!!

  • The original version of this song was the theme song of the film "The Alamo" by the Brothers Four".

  • lovely!

  • A fantastic version of a beautiful song.

    Thanks.

  • Thank You
