Quality is always important as a writer.
More important is the abillity to deliver articles on time without fuss and fighting.
Editors are busy and don't want to do a paragraph 1 rewrite because they have other articles to proof.
My advice: ALWAYS make sure that the first time you write for a publication, you deliver the article ON TIME and that it is good. This tells them you are a reliable writer they can bank on at a later time.
