We have two, this one and an albino. The albino isn't as active as this one. However, he's mostly active when he's hungry. Then he's all over the tank.

Not too much. They don't like to be held that often. Mostly the only time that we handle them is when we move them from the tank to a large bowl when we clean their cages. Other than that, they stay in their tank and like to be left alone.
